Futures Recovery Healthcare is a luxury rehabilitation center in Florida serving people with mental illness and substance use disorders. Although Futures was receiving an abundance of leads every month from marketing efforts, many of these leads would reach out with interest and then immediately go cold, with no lead nurturing efforts in place. To nurture those cold contacts toward admissions and treatment, Forge Apollo crafted several lead-nurturing email campaigns designed to help patients visualize a treatment experience at Futures. After seven months, these efforts resulted in the following: Seven new admissions $95,745.63 in admissions revenue 1% conversion rate 521.72% ROI Keep reading to learn how we achieved these results. Forge Apollo’s Strategy for Success Futures’ contact list of cold leads was interested in learning more about attending rehab but had gone cold in communications. Considering their buyer personas and the nature of their service offering, we planned automated email campaigns in HubSpot to make them feel more informed and comfortable with the decision to attend rehab. These efforts included the following. Copy Speaking to Pain Points to Build Comfort Email copy that speaks to the target audience’s experience and builds comfort around the choice to attend rehab in a series of emails that: Educates about when to attend rehab Explains what it’s like to attend Futures Points out why Futures stands out from competitors Shares the experience of previous patients Testimonials to Generate Trust Due to the deeply personal nature of Futures’ services, honest testimonials in both text and video formats were vital to building trust with a cold audience. Engaging Visuals The quality of Futures’ facility is a significant selling point in their marketing. So, the emails feature high-quality graphics that showcase both the amenities and people enjoying them. Evergreen Automation We used HubSpot Marketing Hub’s workflow capabilities to build automated email campaigns. When contacts meet the qualifying criteria, the workflow automatically enrolls them. Then, each email sends at a specified time interval. If the contact converts, the workflow unenrolls them, so emails don’t continue to send. This allows campaigns to run on an ongoing basis with no effort beyond the initial setup. It also allows campaigns to start at the most relevant time for the contact, which increases the likelihood of conversion. The Results In 11 months, the lead nurturing campaigns have recovered seven cold contacts out of 700 enrolled for a 1% conversion rate. They also generated $95,745.63 in admission. They will only continue to nurture conversion and generate revenue as time goes on with minimal upkeep due to their automated nature. Nurtured 7 Contacts to Close In seven months, the automated campaigns enrolled 700 contacts who were qualified but had gone cold. They nurtured 7 leads to conversion and will continue to nurture more. Generated $95,745.63 in Admissions Those seven deals brought in a total of $95,745.63 in admissions for Futures that they may not have otherwise closed. Since these campaigns automatically continue to run, this number will only grow as time goes on. 521% ROI After factoring in the cost of a HubSpot Marketing Hub subscription and Forge Apollo’s services to design, set up, and maintain the campaigns, Futures achieved an ROI of 521%. To run automated email campaigns, a HubSpot account must have at least the Marketing Hub Professional subscription. The monthly price for Marketing Hub Professional starts at $800. This would be a total of $8,800. Forge Apollo’s charge to design, set up, and maintain the campaigns is $600 per month for a total of $6,600 for 11 months.
