Forge Apollo is a marketing agency in Philadelphia that provides video production, digital marketing, and website design. As our agency has grown, our website was no longer an accurate representation of our brand and services. We knew it was time for a website refresh, and we tackled it with a new design, imagery, pages, and SEO optimization that more accurately reflects our agency as we stand today. One year after launching the new website, we achieved a 48.57% increase in organic traffic YoY and a 35.84% increase in website conversions.*
*About six months after launching the website, we launched a content offer that was a breakout hit. We’ve filtered the traffic and form submissions from that content offer out of these results to better reflect the results of the website itself.

Our previous website design focused on our original service offering–video production. Over the years, we’ve grown to become experts in digital marketing and website design, as well. So, we created a new website that highlighted our services equally.
Our new design uses our branding standards and modern design principles to equally highlight our video production, website development, and digital marketing services. It also shares proof of our expertise by better highlighting testimonials, examples of all types of our work, and our clients.
With an in-house content production team, we knew our website had to avoid stock imagery. We completed multiple photo shoots with our team to fill out the website with our own assets. The smiling faces throughout the site add authenticity to our brand, as they’re our actual team members rather than stiff stock models. For example, in the screenshot below, we feature an image with real members of our team at a meeting instead of stock.
As we’ve expanded our digital marketing and website design services, we’ve added a number of smaller services to our offerings. We’ve added new pages to the website to highlight those services, such as graphic design, branding, and social media advertising.
Along with our design refresh, we also updated our SEO optimization. This included several on-page elements, like alt tags, meta titles, descriptions, and keyword usage. It also included technical elements like increasing page load speed.
One year after the launch date, our website provided the following results.
Organic traffic rose by 48.57%, and overall website traffic rose by 74.94%.
Form submissions from organic website traffic saw a 259.09% increase. This included the contact form and forms for different offers, excluding our breakout “Safe Zones” content offer.
We achieved a 35.84% increase in key events (conversions) on the website year-over-year. Conversions include a contact form fill or a phone call.
With more engaging content and an SEO presence better suited to user intent, we achieved a 25.58% increase in engaged sessions.
